Mountain Life is a Mission-Minded Church. We believe God has saved us, set us free, given us identity and equipped us to make a difference in our Community, our Nation and the World.
What began over 9 years ago as a food pantry at Mountain Life, has grown into a community-wide organization in a beautiful building in McCall that not only serves food to those in need, but serves as a multi-faceted resource to help those in need beyond just immediate food and financial needs.
It is our calling to see that no one in the McCall area ever goes hungry, no matter what the cause. Demand for our service is increasing steadily. We are serving an average of 600 - 800 persons every month, half of whom are children.
The Foodbank, located at 556 Deinhard in McCall, is open for service
Wednesdays, 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED:
FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: All monetary donations are used to buy from the Idaho Food Bank directly or from local suppliers. We are totally volunteer driven, so all donations go directly to operating the Foodbank, providing food to those in need. Contributions may be mailed to:
Heartland Hunger & Resource Center

Each Partner Church is signed up for specific months during the year, providing the volunteers on Wednesdays for the month. Mountain Life's months are January and June. Other opportunities, including maintenance, deliveries and membership on the HH&RC Advisory Board or various subcommittees are available weekly, monthly and at various times throughout the year.

Wood is a vital need for many in our community. Mountain Life partners with the churches and others in the community to provide wood to those who use wood as a primary source of heat and physically or financially cannot get wood for themselves.
We, along with a few others churches, maintain a supply of wood throughout the year. The majority of the wood we provide is purchased collectively by the churches along with community donations. This wood is cut, split and delivered by volunteers on our annual community woodcutting day, affectionately named "Woodstock", held the 2nd Saturday in July.
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED:
FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: All monetary donations are used to buy wood for the annual woodcutting day or for purchasing additional wood throughout the year, as supplie become exhausted. Financial contributions may be made to Mountain Life, designating "Woodbank" on the check or envelope. Donations can also be made using the the link at the bottom of this page or the Give Link on the main page. Donate Here.
WOODSTOCK: Join the community on the 2nd Saturday of July from 8am until completion to cut, split, load, deliver, unload or help in various other ways (food & water for volunteers, run errands, etc.).
MLC WOODBANK: Mountain Life maintains a wood supply through the year. You can help by volunteering to help maintain our supply, make deliveries and stack wood for those who are physically unable to do it themselves.
