Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

  • The Trinity

We believe in the Trinity, which is the doctrine that God is one, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The three persons of the Trinity are distinct and unified, co-existing in perfect harmony. We believe that the Trinity is an essential part of understanding God and His purpose for us.

  • The Bible

We believe in the plenary-verbal (word for word) inspiration of the

accepted canon of the Scriptures and that they are infallibly and uniquely authoritative

and free from error in all matters with which they deal, including scientific and historical as well as moral and theological. (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:13)

  • Salvation and Resurrection

We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and

    rose again the third day, and personally appeared to His disciples (1 Corinthians 15:1-8;

Romans 4:25). We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and

faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain

remission of sins (Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12, 9:22; Romans 5:11)

  • Baptism

Water Baptism - We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the

Eternal Godhead in order to fulfill the command of Christ

    (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38-39, 19:1-6).

Baptism In The Holy Spirit - We believe in the Baptism In The Holy Spirit as an

experience subsequent to salvation and a distinct aspect of the Christian foundational

experience, made evident by Spiritual Gifts and empowerment as indicated in

    scripture

    (Matthew 3:11, Luke 3:16, Acts 2:1-4, 8:14-17, 10:44-46, 19:6).

  • The Church

We believe that the Church is comprised of people joined together by the

confession of faith in Jesus Christ and is the vehicle by which God is revealing Himself

and exercising His authority on the Earth today. The Church is seen through the

assembly of believers in a specific location or local Church. The local Church is

autonomous under the Lordship of Christ and is governed by locally appointed

    leadership.

    (Acts 15:22, 20:28; with Matthew 16:18; 18:15-20, Romans 13:1-7; Ephesians 4:11, 5:22-24; Hebrews 13:17; 1 Peter 2:13-14)
